Water Power Activity Kit - ISL Grade 4 Unit 4 Check Availability

This 4th grade Science lesson was shared with us by the International School of Louisiana.

Materials (for 6 small groups):

• 6 cleaned, recycled plastic soda bottles with 1/4" holes drilled in the cap and the bottom
  
• 6 wooden dowels (¼ " diameter and long than the length of the soda bottle)
• 6 rolls of duct tape (one for each group)
  
• 1 roll of string (shared between all groups)
  
• 1 box of popsicle sticks for turbine fins (or index cards covered in plastic wrap)
  
• 6 stopwatches
• tap water and drain access
