STEM Library Lab: Investigating Shadows Kit

This 5th grade (Unit 4) Science lesson was shared with us by the International School of Louisiana.

This kit includes enough materials for 30 students divided into pairs.

Materials:

1) 15 Flashlights

2) 15 Scissors

3) White paper/poster board

4) 15 Rulers/measuring tapes

5) 30 sheets of graph paper

6) 15 bags of objects to make shadows (mix of transparent & opaque)

7) Butcher paper

8) Science Notebooks
