In this lab, students will explore Paper Chromatography and how it is used to separate chemical substances. By using three individual dyes, along with a mixture of dyes, they will get to determine the composition of the mixture by separating the dyes with paper chromatography and understand why they move at different rates within the system. An Instruction Manual and enough materials for 2 groups are included.
